Dr. Mary Hendrickson
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Washington.  I went to the University of Washington as an undergraduate. I received my doctoral degree in psychology in 1997 from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, IL (now known as the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science). My training included an emphasis on health psychology in graduate school and during a one-year internship in pediatric psychology at Michigan State University. After graduation, I worked in private practice as a clinical psychologist and as a school psychologist in New Mexico.

I work with individual adults on issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, survivors of child abuse, trauma, PTSD, relationship problems, adjustment problems (for example, family changes, loss, divorce), work problems, and coping with chronic illness. I do not provide couples' therapy but can refer you to other professionals who do.  My theoretical orientation is generally cognitive-behavioral but I also integrate other approaches, such as biological and developmental understanding, psychoeducational interventions, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
