Andrea Davis earned a masters degree in psychology from Antioch University Seattle focusing her studies on cultural communications and career development after spending 20 years living and working in Brazil, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan and Italy.  Besides working with families expatriating to the US and around the world Andrea focuses her counseling practice on transition issues such as third culture children (those raised between cultures during their developmental years), inter-cultural communication, work related concerns, life threatening illness, stress, anxiety, men and women’s issues, relationships, grief, loss, and aging.  

Andrea uses a variety of approaches but often uses techniques from Cognitive Behavioral, DBT, Narrative and EFT.  Her emphasis is on collaborative conversations, coaching, and educating.  Andrea is the Past-President of the Seattle Counselors Association, a professional organization that supports a diverse group of mental health professionals who continue growing in their work through monthly educational opportunities, member of SIETRA (Society of Intercultural Educators, Trainers and Researchers and Puget Sound Association for Career Professionals.
